I have been working at Swatch Group part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Minimum wage is compensated by a weekly bonus of 1.25% of sales if personal sales goals are achieved. In addition if the store makes its monthly goal all employees receive 1.25% of their month's sales total.
They were also swift to address a harassment complaint I filed.

Cons

There is not always a leader on duty and so dealing with customers who need more attention can be difficult. In addition after the store manager left on short notice, an untrained assistant manger started who proves unhelpful in many situations because they are not familiar with all policies and product knowledge.

Advice to Management

Management should not have to be trained by sales associates and should concentrate on operational tasks as opposed to personally making sales. It should also be mandatory that a member of the management team is always on duty. All associates, even new ones, are expected to close the store without supervision from management and are responsible for a store key. This is a major loss prevention hazard.
