Pros

Symantec has a ver good Education courses and paths

Cons

It is still Very young as a whole company, and much as to improve in Services to costumer and on presenting One brand.

Advice to Management

Unify all aquisitivos, work has One company, One Service

    Pros

    The team I worked with were a great bunch of focused people.
    Salary was good

    Cons

    It cares for nothing other than it's share price. It cares a lot more about what analysts like gartner, 'the markets' etc. think than it's customers. It buys companies to increase overall revenue rather than try and really perform with what it has already. There is no innovation. It's customer service strategy is to avoid talking to customers where possible or reduce the cost. Why else offshore so much technical support which generates such high turnover of staff and therefore poor customer experience? I've heard senior leadership say they aren't properly funded to meet the SLA's we state, and yup we simply don't meet them.

    Advice to Management

    Why bother stating anything. They'll be busy looking at the share price not looking here. Basically they switched off their brains and just use Excel to manage the company.
