I have been working at Symphony full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Whatever your role, there's a ton of room for impact and career growth. - The work is challenging and rewarding. Seriously, where else can you build software for (and with the explicit buy-in of) the entire financial industry? - Symphony is very well funded, with a clear path to profitability. - Every employee has their choice of top-of-the-line tech to get the job done. One small word of caution: There is a ton to do, so work/life balance will naturally suffer. Such is the life of a startup. If you're not willing to put in the effort, you won't like it at Symphony.

    Cons

    - Symphony is not immune to the regular growing pains of a startup, which can be frustrating at times. For example, "corporate" policies surrounding things like travel and performance reviews tend to be vague. - With so many high-profile customers with high-profile demands, management sometimes has difficultly prioritizing and setting expectations.

    Advice to Management

Let your team focus. If you insulate us from politics, we'll build you an awesome app.
