I have been working at Symphony full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - fantastic culture (inclusive, enthusiastic, motivating, fun, shared vision) - consistent learning opportunities (speakers, workshops, mentorship) - work hard, play hard mentality - challenging/dynamic/rewarding work - notable sense of autonomy given to teams/roles - flexibility allows for work/life balance - everyone has a voice (idea sharing is encouraged)

    Cons

(these depend on your personal preferences/aptitudes) - fluid business processes ('growing pains'); must be able to adapt to changes quickly - high expectations - can become addictive (constantly connected, lots of 'type A' personalities - but this is also a 'pro', not just a 'con')

    Advice to Management

    - provide transparency whenever possible (this has much improved) - be more proactive about addressing under-performers/those who are not culture carriers - be cognizant of perceived favoritism
