I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Great atmosphere, great people. Saw a lot of compassion and love for the job here.

Cons

Really depends on the group that you are in whether or not it's a great environment.
Employees aren't sure of the stability of the company.

Advice to Management

Need to have some stability among Sr Leadership. Gain strength in areas of past weaknesses. Don't lose sight of your greatest asset, your employees. I have seen this decline over the last several years and it's had a huge impact on the moral, which affects overall productivity.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The pay and benefits were great initially. Over all, the team atmosphere was pretty awesome. My store managers were usually awesome in that they cared about each individual employee and did what they could to help them succeed both professionally and personally.

    Cons

The pay went downhill as the commission structure was continously realigned. It was very hard to receive a promotion as most store manager positions and up were filled from outside employment. They were usually friends from some other manager within the company. I along with many other representatives that worked hard and continously made 125% to quota were constantly over looked.
Most of us that were within the same circle moved on to bigger and better things, however those that stayed past 7 years finally were promoted to assistant managers. I can only imagine how many more years it may take to achieve a store manager position or if it will ever happen.

    Advice to Management

Recognize the potential of sales representatives within your organization. Verify the real contributions that are being made from those that would like to advance within the company and make sure that credit is given where it is due.
