I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Pay, benefits, facility, phone program.

Cons

War is being waged within each group and its easy to get caught in the crossfire. Very very stressful environment where checks and balances are sacrificed for an uncommon result.

Advice to Management

Seek help in fixing the broken feedback loop. Enough of the bureaucracy, dial down the politics and lets fix this together as team. Eliminate all the degrees of separation and quit rewarding unethical behavior.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits, Good pay, Fun place to work (depends on the location you are at) If you're into technology then this company is awesome! I would recommend working for this company to a friend but i would also say "good luck on where you land"

    Cons

Management can be a real pain. It's all about politics/favoritism. You can sell everything in the store, provide the best customer service experience, so much so that the customer will come back to your store and bring in other loyal customers and management would only care about one metric. Also did not like having pointless outreaches in the most unusual places. (i.e having a kiosk at the entire time length of the county fair and not giving employees some wiggle room to sell to customers that they can't already get at a store.) Also there are managers that don't do anything!!!

    Advice to Management

Stop showing favoritism because that can really bring down morale.
    Discipline employees who are slacking.
Don't make things up just to get rid of an employee.
Don't just sit in the back and do nothing and expect every employee to do everything for you.
They need to do a better job on who they are hiring and who are they promoting because once they get that title they become slackers.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people, products have a potential.

    Cons

Too much middle management, some not even credible as people managers

    Advice to Management

Take a serious look at putting people in positions that they are qualified for not because they are your friend.
