    I worked at T-Mobile part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I worked as an RSA for almost three years, and got some great sales/customer service experience. I had none when I walked in, and when I left, I was leading the store on a lot of metrics.

    Cons

    Our market was pretty small, so I didn't have many opportunities for advancement in my area. It also means coverage is only so/so, so no matter how many activations we came away with, there would always be returns due to poor coverage.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Opportunity for advancement, latest cellular technologies, innovative organization with the ability to churn out new customer-centric features. I worked on the billing system, good Dev / Test process.

    Cons

    Went through growing pains, moving from an entrepreneurial organization to maturity caused problems internally with experienced staff and did not result better processes. Outsourced operations of billing system to third party.

    Advice to Management

    Executive hires should be concerned with innovation, not cost cutting.
