I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Awesome place to work at. Great pay, even as a part-timer. Employees have a great relationship with each other.

Cons

Pay structure is always changing. Too many dumb meetings that are way too short and way too early in the morning.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, fairly open corporate structure, some great upper management

    Cons

Promotions often result in a pay cut if you're a top performer, company will cut costs for front line employees yet will waste money with other departments, a lot of forced micromanagement, some terrible upper management

    Advice to Management

Don't lose sight of "the big picture." Recognize talent where due, learn to analyze numbers/metrics; they don't lie yet they are deeper than an excel spreadsheet. Train sales people, not drones. Much like a government, leadership that rules with a Machiavellian style is hardly legitimate at all. Likewise, any employee that is only able to perform under an iron fist has no place in this business.

    I have been working at T-Mobile full-time

    Pros

the commission is great. You get to meet a lot of great people and lifelong friends. Lots of opportunities to test out the latest gadgets. Friendly environment

    Cons

Dealing with customer BS, Upper management has no idea what its like to work the frontline. Company goals constantly changing, they have no idea what they're doing as a company and its resulting in its failures.

    Advice to Management

All upper management training should consist of working at retail locations for a month.
