I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

-Great for experience working in teams
-mobile technology experience
-training on telecommunications and mobile networks
-employee recognition program was well above average

Cons

-Outsourced my job to foreign country
-Corporate environment, too distant of a connection to upper management
-slow process for technological upgrades and improvements to employee resources

Advice to Management

-I would suggest that the management could benefit from more face to face interaction with the subordinate employees. It seemed as though there presence was mostly only during times of struggle or underperformance.

    I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great benefits and a fair wage. Overall great benefits and place to work. Fair wage for position and area. Company has a gym inside, great security, cafeteria except weekends. I chose to bring my lunch mostly or leave. Co-workers ate there a lot and didn't seem to mind, a bit expensive. Calls are not too bad, and work space is definitely adequate. Must be computer/tech savvy and patient.

    Cons

    Forced sales on all calls. Metrics are difficult not to take personally and hard to control some of them.

    Advice to Management

    More consistent process and procedures. People seem to interpret things differently than others.

    Job security as long as you do your job correctly.
    Friendly environment

    Cons

    Promotions are given based on favorites rather than who is most qualified. Unfair pay compared to others with less experience.

    Advice to Management

    Be more selective with who gets promotions.
