I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Fun atmosphere and friendly/supportive staff.

Cons

It's retail. Stress is abundant and there isn't a great work life balance.

Advice to Management

Spend some time on the sales floor. You might learn a thing or two about your business.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Most of the really talented people and those who truly care about others and still have a soul have departed from T-Mobile, so the only pro I can think of is "it's a job so that you can feed yourself and maybe some of your family"

    Cons

Way too many micro-managing, useless middle managers who don't have a clue about the technology, and spend their time shuffling reports rather than rewarding the hard-working employees who keep the big machine running, and focusing on the business of serving customers. It's a typical bureaucratic corporate mentality where 10% of the people do 90% of the work.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and listen to your employees! Firing everyone who is involved in a disagreement with management is not resolving a thing. It only transfers the issues to the next set of slaves you "hire". Worst management I've ever witnessed in my 25 years of employment in telecommunications engineering and operations.

    I worked at T-Mobile part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Possibility is high in making good money with commission.
    Good leadership.
    Great Benefits.

    Cons

Constantly changing commission format and sales training.
Commission calculations can be off by a few dollar to a hundred.
Slow paced moving upwards in the company.

    Advice to Management

Be sure that you pick a sales strategy that works and stick to it. One of the most annoying things as a sales associate was constantly switching what product to focus on instead of the services as a whole.
