I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

As a store manager you can make your own schedule with in company guidelines, choose your own vacation dates, etc.

Cons

Retail SALES! So many metrics to meet that there is no way you can hit every metric! If you are a low volume store, your considered the "Step Child" and its never understood that if you do not have the traffic, you cant drive the sales.

Advice to Management

Spend a few days in your lower volume stores to see the reality and offer advise/help on ways to improve traffic that have not already been taken before.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, fun place to work, super great benefits and work environment.

    Cons

The HR team and the way they use the integrity line. It's a joke, instead of being there to help the company deal with ethical behaviour - they use it to convict the innoncent as guilty until proven innoncent. HR team needs to be investigated for their shady tactics. Making people turn against others and rewrite statements until the HR team is satisfied, independant of the true facts. How's that suppose to be integral?

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on the frontline -they are the keys to customer satisfaction. Monitor what you expect out of your own HR team and ensure they role model integrity and ethical behavior.

    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits. Salary seemed higher than other competitors.

    Cons

T-Mobile coverage spotty for lots of end users. Tough to sell and keep on the books for vesting period.

    Advice to Management

Focus on sales and network. Speed does not make up for lack of coverage.
