I have been working at T-Mobile part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Probably the best carrier to work for with the way T-Mobile is changing the industry. Very family-like sales environment with a casual (very lenient) dress code. Pay scale is excellent if you show up and work hard.

Cons

the EVER LOOMING BUYOUT TALKS! It really makes it uncomfortable when everyone from customers to family members asking if youre "owned" by someone else everyday. other than that, reporting is always wrong, takes forever to update. every time the commission structures seems to tilt in our (the reps) favor, they change it.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

New problems to solve everyday. Fast-paced retail environment with great service model for customers. Market leading pricing compared other major national carriers. Great CEO leading industry change.

    Cons

Metric driven production from sr mngt doesn't always mesh with realities of in-store production. Every commission structure change has lowered my earning potential.

    Advice to Management

    Get better traffic counters.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pretty good pay and benefits but if you sell something it is hard to keep customers because the service is terrible.

    Cons

Sales Management in St Louis is an absolute joke! Most unethical place I have ever worked.

    Advice to Management

Start over from top down and start building out network. T-Mobile will always be #4 unless you expand network.
