Pros

It has great benefits even for some part time employees. In a sales role, the pay is pretty solid.

Cons

Like any company the quality of your day to day work life depends on the direct management. I've been fortunate enough to have great managers thus far in two separate stores. I've heard others haven't been so lucky, but there is bad management anywhere you go. Currently T-Mobile is setting themselves outside of the "pack" so to speak in the mobile world by trying new policies and sales tactics. The drawback is that since they're a little out of the box, the future is unsure. So, in that regard I guess that's a Con.

Advice to Management

It's always best to stay in touch with the general environment and real life situations the front end employees are dealing with. That way when new procedures and policies are made the transitions are more smooth.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company is really setting a new standard in the wireless industry with its uncarrier strategy. Employees are treated well, compensation is fair and commissions are uncapped. Company benefits are very good and there is an awesome discount for employee plans.

    Cons

While the uncarrier strategy is great, it can be challenging to sell devices to customers who are credit challenged. Down payments and deposits can be high. T-Mobile's coverage is very poor in rural areas. Numbers play a large role in getting promoted, even when in a low volume store. Potential Sprint buyout.

    Advice to Management

    Improve coverage in rural areas.

  2. "Long hours, not appreciated"

    Pros

Average company get togethers and little effort put in to making them other than a day bowling.

    Cons

No a appreciation of long hours put in.

    Advice to Management

Share with the team all of the extra hours that are being put in.
