"Terribly organized, no value given to retaining talent, management doesn't care"

    Pros

    - While there is no official corporate culture, there are good people here at the lower ranks and often that is what keeps people around longer.

    Cons

    So many cons...
    - All changes are done without consulting the people it affects. Almost always comes from Montreal and Toronto gets only a small say if any
    - The executives, not all but some, barely know who anyone is in the office and make no effort to know them. One senior executive, I don't even know what he does all the time and when he does get involved, does things that make me wonder how he got into that position
    - Not a lot of room for internal promotions. They usually hire externally instead or give people the senior positions from either being billingual or through connections
    - Worst benefits package I've ever seen
    - Culture of "we can train new people" (but there is no formal training or onboarding process, just assumes other people on the team will train the new person) and no employee retention. This causes problems for those left behind because when people leave, they take all the info with them. People left behind just have to pick up the pieces to do their job
    - Wasteful spending. Perhaps that can go to keeping employees around instead?
    - Inefficiencies and cogged up processes. We are helpless to all the changes made that make our lives difficult and no one listens
    - Lot of dead weight
    - Being in Toronto, the majority of the high up people are in Montreal

    Advice to Management

You need to address the core issues. What makes a company successful is investing in your greatest asset, the people who keep it running. It's like you just don't care.
