I worked at TD as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Nice all around people there, smart workers. They give you responsibility if you really ask for more work. Training is top notch, I feel, because you learn a lot in how to use their systems and the trainers are pretty knowledgeable

Cons

At times you may feel like slacking off because there didn't seem to be much support/no defined schedule for junior workers unless you really sought it out. Was not hired back even though I got the highest rating for an intern. HR sucks at responding to your inquiries for job help

    Pros

Great benefits as far as health insurance

    Cons

I could go on and on of how bad of a place it is to work in the call center. I don't think I ever hated a job so much in my life. DO NOT WORK IN THE CALL CENTER, it is pure hell working there. The QA people and your leadership team are paid to find something work with your calls. They get on you about your adherence which means you have to be on the phone 95% of the time. If your stuck on the phone with a customer and miss your break; there is no rescheduling of your break. If your sick or leave early it counted as call out and it also unapproved essentially it counts against you. They want you to report 15min prior to your shift so you can get login on the phone on time. You do not get paid for those 15min and that why there is a law suit facing this company.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating your employees poorly and do not get an attitude when a rep has a question to ask you. stop putting so much pressure on the employees with sales and I think it over done which causes frustration with the reps. This is part of the reason your turnover rate is extremely high and for the fact that were in a bad economy so this tell you something.
