I have been working at TD full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of people are promoted based on their 'WOW' factor (or butt kissing) rather than experience or knowledge, therefore most of management is clueless.

    Cons

NO COHESION THROUGHOUT STORES. Very frustrating when transferring to a new store. Transferring to a new region makes you want to rip your hair out.
Also, years of experience and knowledge really mean nothing.

    Advice to Management

Standards should be set in stone and applied.

I have been working at TD part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy job, flexible hours, benefits after 30 days -even for part time

    Cons

HR is a joke. Trying to be promoted from within is all about who you know.

    Advice to Management

TD is losing talented people because HR does not recognize qualified individuals. Also, the tuition reimbursement department needs an overhaul.
