I have been working at TD full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The Company was growing really fast.

Cons

Company was fraught with scandal the whole time I worked there- an then bought out by a Canadian Bank- TD.

Advice to Management

I hope the IT systems are integrated & improved by now.

I have been working at TD full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A "wow culture" that encourages employee development and education. Active in local communities and has a promote from within training program. Generous PTO for full time employees. 401k OK.

    Cons

Stocks can only be obtained through 401k and you are only awarded 5 shares on anniversary milestones, bonuses are small, when promoted from within you will be underpaid within the industry and those hired from the outside will make 30-40% more than you.

    Advice to Management

Continue employee rewards programs to include stock incentives- this will increase the awareness of shareholder value by your staff and continue to develop a more streamlined retail support and lending channel. Ask your staff in surveys what customers are asking for at the stores. The customers tell us a lot.

    Pros

The hours are convienent to work and the employees are generally nice within any branch that you work at.

    Cons

The way that managers conduct themselves are usually unprofessional.

    Advice to Management

Keep track of how often your Managers and assistant managers are in the branch actually working and helping their employees.
