I have been working at TD full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

TD has a WOW! culture that stresses caring about customers and employees. The company is growing and has a sound business model upon which to grow.

Cons

TD is not an innovative company overall and tends to be a slow follower in terms of use of technology and customer products/offerings so if you want to be part of a company that leads in innovation, this is probably not the place to be. Hours required to meet commitments and expectations at more senior levels are quite high and seem to be increasing.

    Pros

Ok pay; Some run to grow

    Cons

Technology is horrible. Systems are the worst, at least 15 systems just to do your job.

    Advice to Management

    INVEST IN TECHNOLOGY.

I worked at TD full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Generous time off. Good Benefits.

    Cons

There is a lack of communication within the department and with other departments. The training is either Inaccurate or incomplete. Most people are overworked. Supervisors/managers do not have the time (?) to get back to you if you have a question.
Different department, different rules for just about everything and everyone ( example, having to take ½ day of PTO, instead of a few hours if you have a doctor’s appointment, or not being able to make the time up by working late or coming in early, lf snow storm and able to leave early, some get paid, some have to take PTO, and more).
I don’t know how this bank is not rated lower with such a high amount of employee turnovers. Have you noticed the amount of job openings they have listed? Most are not new positions. That should say it all.

    Advice to Management

Show some appreciation. Be flexible and open to ideas, not my way or no way. Be consistent in rules. Treat your employees like you want the customers to be treated. They should be concerned with the high turnover.
