I have been working at TD part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Great benefits, great training, reimbursement programs, respectful workplace, very accepting of different cultures, many opportunities to move up in the company if you do well. They value growth and it's not based on seniority.

Cons

They have high expectations for their employees, especially when it comes to sales goals. Although the training is great there needs to be more training facilities around. I had to travel to another state in order to make the training. Also ugly teller uniforms, a sweater vest is not professional.

Advice to Management

Have managers work with the tellers don't just hide behind the desk.

I worked at TD full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunity to grow as an individual and a professional.

    Cons

Too much stress and pressure by selling products in order to accomplish quarterly goals. Bank wants to save on salaries while current employees are overwhelmed working three positions at the same time.

    Advice to Management

Need more people to work since bank is open seven days a week.

I worked at TD part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Co-workers were friendly and everyone got along. Everyone was very supportive of each other. Sales competitions were fun and there were always prizes.

    Cons

Some upper management were unfriendly and rude. Part timers had to work every weekend. Other stores were not so nice about helping out when we were down a person. I feel like there was some favoritism going on.

    Advice to Management

Chill out. I know you want to make money but you have to realize people don't want or need some of the products. Also, the check cashing fee just made is worse for teller who have to deal with angry customers on a daily basis.
