Pros

Great training for young professionals or recent college graduates looking to build up their resume, learn a lot in a very fast paced and at times hectic environment, management is very friendly and approachable.

Cons

The pay isnt that great especially for recent college graduates, and likely will end up losing a ton of good employees when the economy improves and jobs with better compensation pop up.

Advice to Management

Basically just improve the pay scale for the employees, or see many high quality employees leave for greener pastures once the economy turns around.

    Pros

    paid job training/continuing education
    travel reimbursement
    limited tuition reimbursement
health coverage for employees working 20+ hrs/wk
    401(k) opportunities
room for advancement for those joining the company at entry level positions or with little post secondary education
great way for entry level branch workers to build skills/titles/work experience on resume
recommended as starter job to get started in the industry

    Cons

extremely high legal/financial/knowledge liability in relationship to job/compensation
    daily/frequent interactions with angry/pressuring customers
quarterly/annual bonuses and annual raises are next to nothing - must rely on base salary
cross training at the branch level leaves you under compensated
meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is absolutely required to avoid many problems

    Advice to Management

Management/supervision is supposed to be there for their staff - when they voice concern, don't just sate the complainant, solve the issue.
Don't exaggerate upcoming bonuses, as when we get them we feel deflated, insulted, dissatisfied, and less motivated for the next quarter.
Management/supervision should know how to do the job of those below them.
Communicate! This company changes policy/procedure very quickly, front line employees need to be kept up to date and that is team leader responsibility.
