Pros

when things ran smoothly, it was a great place to work. as soon as something went wrong, there was too much fingerpointing instead of real problem solving.

Cons

very unfair leave accrual system; double standards seem to exist regarding treatment of hourly versus salaried employees; too much nepotism...it's not what you do but who knows you that counts.

Advice to Management

decide what direction you want to go in and make it happen. you cannot be all thngs to all customers all of the time...it just doesn't work.

    Pros

The people are some of the best you will meet!!
Training is top shelf. Atmosphere fosters learning and technical knowledge development.

    Cons

Successful employees grossly under compensated. Management concerned with staying on the top of the hill. Micromanagement detracts from focusing on the bigger picture.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to create more clearly defined career paths for those employees who wish to advance. Pay attention to employees who are contributing to the bottom line and work to compensate them more accurately or TESSCO will continue to bleed talent.

I have been working at TESSCO full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They have hard working professionals who come into the company wanting to do a great job. They do promote within first.

    Cons

Some of the veteran leadership still tries to implement changes which are the same things we use to do but rename them, consequently they didnt work then and still do not now. They just give it a different color lipstick with yet another new acronym. Until they renew the old leadership changes will come hard.
