I have been working at TMS Health full-time (More than a year)

Pros

You might get to meet and network with other intelligent professional minded people who want to work in the health care related field despite how it's a sweat shop style call center and offers no real health care experience.

Cons

I could go list so many things wrong with this company but so much has been mentioned already on this board. It is the worst kind of sweat shop style company with horrible management that treat their employees so bad most of the smart, skilled ones figure out it's a dead end sweat shop job with no career advancement opportunity and quit. It's a shame because I met a lot of great people but they didn't stay long.

Advice to Management

Fire yourselves and get some serious management training.

    Pros

When it comes to security, this job gives it.
Easy to do. The tasks are not difficult and easiest phone job.

    Cons

Promises of pay increase and raises are so faulty. Some are truly not fair. People have been here 5 years and never received a pay raise. Commission isn't fair. They tax 33% of it off your check separately from 80 hrs work week pay.

    Pros

There are a number of individuals that are over qualified, over educated, and simply deserve better. These people (worker bees) is the only thing that TMS has going good for them. It takes absolutely no brain power to this job.

    Cons

The pay is the same as any other call center. The commission structure is set to where you are never going to make good money and if you do, they just transfer you to another program or switch you to other teams and territories to where you can't make any money. At the end of the day, don't believe all the hype. Just to be clear. Its NOT sales and its NOT pharma rep level, its outbound pharmaceutical customer service. Its as simple as reading a script and saying "have a nice day we'll call you in 4-6 weeks." The hourly pay is the same as any other call center and they lure you with a commission structure that is unobtainable for most. The organization is taking on so many brands that they are sinking themselves and don't have any idea how they can accommodate the needs of the brands, in result making the hourly employee's job even more miserable. When you talk about change; there are changes made EVERY day and the management team is never on the same page and have no idea what is going on. Management is a total joke. If you cheat, kiss butt, and show up every day then you got a good chance of some kind of growth (That's the secret). The sad thing is, when you get promoted its mainly a lateral promotion (no extra money buddy) and you can show or not show whenever you want. If you just need a job to make ends meet, then this is your place. If you are looking to have a career or work for a good company that is not looked down upon by other organizations in the same industry, then stay far away. Lastly, if you are looking to get your foot in the pharma industry and want to be a "real" pharm rep. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!

    Advice to Management

In one of your morning meetings, you all should pull out the ACS handbook and read it from front to back word for word. Stop making people managers when they have proven that they can't even manage themselves. Find a better strategist! The planning in this organization is horrible and whoever is responsible for coming up with a strategy to roll-out new initiatives should be fired!!!!
