I worked at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As a packer you are paid 11 an hour to make up for the lack of tips you will receive. Employees are drug tested before they are employed. As a qualified driver you get a dollar pay raise.

    Cons

    Very unorganized.
There is no set schedule. You have to call in every night to the hotline to see if you are put on schedule for the next day.
You have to arrive around 7:30 or 7:45 but you don't start getting paid until you get out onto the job site. So that could be about 2 hours that you are working at the shop that you are not getting compensated for.
They have rules against drug use but they only enforce them on the "not favorites". Those that they find are "hard workers" will have them look the other way if they don't pass a drug test by sending them to a reform class when the rules call for immediate dismissal. Or when "hard workers" are caught drinking alcoholic beverages on site with customers then drive back in the company truck they are not reprimanded because they are their "hard workers". Rules are Rules.
They have too many "bosses" in the same area. It's hard to get direction on what to do when you have 2 or 3 people telling you opposite things to do.
The bosses are quick to deal out "leadership" but will not enforce it when you coworkers won't do what they are told and etc. But as soon as things go wrong they do not hesitate to accuse those thy put as Leaders and didn't help when they came to them to help enforce things.
They are very slow to give you your raises but will continue to make you do the job that you deserve a raise for. Example, as a driver you get a dollar more.

    Advice to Management

Carrollton branch is growing faster than it can be maintained. Some of the management has too many people in one area so there is confusion as to what to do and when when the bosses don't agree and try to each give out their own orders. Aslo some managers and workers do not come near pulling thier weight while others are doing far more than their fair share.
When you have rules you should enforce them regardless of who it is that breaks them. If two people break the same rule and one is hard working and one is mediocre they still get the same punishment.
