Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Takeda Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Great health benefits, a little profit sharing and peers are good people.

Cons

Drastically losing morale. No one wants to be here. New management style is to "catcha" doing something wrong. Went from a great company when they had good drugs and descent revenue to a horrible micro managed nightmare of a company...with underperforming drugs due to THE MARKET their in....not the people selling them.

    Pros

Ok salary, car choices, work life balance, fun people for the most part, manager can make or break you.

    Cons

Field Managers are felt they have to micro manage. The company promotes entrepenurial spirit, but you can't voice your opinion or make changes to improve YOUR business. Tow the line and stay in the middle of the pack and you will be fine... and bored.

    Advice to Management

Stop managing by fear. Look to help improve the environment instead of make it more toxic.

I worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The type of oncology products Millennium produces benefits the lives of many sickly patients. This is the only pro I can think of.

    Cons

    Where to begin...
    - Senior management allows managers to bully employees.
    - HR does not protect the worker. After speaking with HR twice regarding the poor treatment by a manager, no actions were taken to remedy the situation.
    - Hard workers are not properly rewarded and recognized.
    - Certain departments promote employees frequently while others never promote.
    - Job descriptions do not accurately reflect actual work that is expected.
    - Management takes credit for employees accomplishments.
    - Time is micro managed.

    Advice to Management

Hire HR personnel that will actually listen to employees and react appropriately. Maybe retention rates will improve. Also, recognize hard working employees despite levels. Managers shouldn't take all the credit for their staff's accomplishments.
