Company bullied by Spain based headquarters, in which operations are polar opposite. All operations negatively effected

    Pros

    Very little physical work

    Cons

Maintenance software was switched from an excellent system to a complicated, disorganized mess in which everything is in Spanish. The select few workers knowing the prints, system, and schematics are from across the pond and are not willing to share or teach valuable information and program information. I am an extremely fast learner, grasp concepts quickly, and work very hard..yet I was given a crash course on day one and expected to pick up everything on the fly, which most would struggle with. You are expected to manage employees, give direction, and produce productivity, yet you can not reprimand any of your workers and have nothing available to hold them accountable when productivity is not reached. Pay is subpar and company expects extended hours, excessive overtime, and life commitment to the job with nothing in return. If you like being underpayed, overworked, and struggling in day to day operations than this is the job for you. Organized, structurelized, and valuable workers need not apply!!

    Pros

Benefits, some key personnel that keep the boat afloat

    Cons

Elementary & clique like work environment, employee favoritism, especially towards Spanish expats and US employees who are friends with them. Spanish business model does not translate to US market, but Spain does not want to take this into any consideration, so employees & projects suffer. Short staffed across the board, refusal to hire adequate resources, increasing workloads, promotes stressful work environment and burnout.
