Pros

Working with the Healthline team next door. Watching that team starting to spread its wings after years of top-down oppression was refreshing.

Cons

If you're interviewing here, you'll understand immediately why this is 'where careers go to die'. The vibe/energy at Talix is NOT a mistake. This is a top-down organization under the watchful eye of the CEO. Notice everything while you're there. Cheap cubical walls, plastic plants, cheap/falling apart equipment, zero attention to and lack of team collaborative areas. If you're 10 minutes late, it will be noticed by the CEO. The vast majority of the office clears out daily at 5pm. Executive team flat out lies in interviews knowing the place is toxic and says the CEO is open to and wanting change at Talix, don't believe it. Again, notice your surroundings when on-site. Talix has been in that space for a decade and the lack of care and concern for the comfort of their employees is undeniable.

Talix Response

I’m sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at Talix. As a startup that recently spun out from our parent company, we are indeed still building our identity as a new, standalone company and working on creating the right office culture for our employees. Some might say this is the most exciting time to join a company, where employees have the chance to make a real contribution to the organization and play an important role in shaping the company culture, benefits and perks. Thank you for your candid feedback – we will take into consideration all of this and continue to improve our new office space, culture, etc. Some things we have on the docket at Talix are: weekly Happy Hours, a fully stocked snack wall, BBQs, and much more!
