Pros

*Good job at recognizing employees when you do a good job
*Flexible schedule
*easy to request time off
*Performance Based raises each year
*Good team oriented culture, everyone helps out
*Fun environment
*Decent Pay (Just average-probably only a dollar or two above minimum wage)

Cons

*can be very stressful, (especially during holiday season)
*Managers goals and expectations can sometimes be unrealistic
*sometimes raises are not distributed evenly or fairly(Favoritism)
*hours get cut a lot after Christmas time
*No bonuses (other than yearly review, which is nothing special)

Advice to Management

This job is excellent at recognizing its workers when they do well. They show their appreciation in many ways ie. free food, drinks, T-shirt, gift cards, etc. However, MONEY MOTIVATES!!! Offer better raises, if team members were rewarded more monetarily, they would have incentive to work much harder. Free iTunes cards, Starbucks, and target t-shirts only go so far.

    - support from management
    - decent pay
    - high growth potential
    - great company ethics
    - friendly employees
    - dynamic work place (retail setting)

    Cons

    - organizational politics
    - varied hours but thats to be expected from a retail position

    Advice to Management

I would focus on employee's performance rather than their personality when evaluating them. Also, Target should try and look into improving the work/life balance a little bit more.
