    Pros

they are definitely all about teamwork, and I liked the people i worked with (not the managers). i became much more familiar with micromanagement unfortunately.

    Cons

Target sucks. They treat you like crap and don't care about the individual, which I'm sure is common to most corporations. Instead of actually caring about the work you do, you should just tell the managers that you've finished your work at the end of the night, and you will get a lot farther than if you were to actually thoroughly complete any of your tasks. The people I worked with who halfway did their work got a lot better treatment than I did. Target is probably the worst job I've ever had, I would never work for them again. I gave my notice and moved out of state and was told that my last check would be mailed to me. I called the store four weeks later and they said that corporate would send me the check. so i called corporate and apparently the store i worked at had been sitting on my final check for four weeks, knowing that i had moved out of state. so on top of everything else, incompetence seems to be a common theme.

    Advice to Management

Hire competent managers who are actually interested in using people's individual skills and offering them something more than criticism and negative feedback.
