Disapproves of CEO

Pros

Great salary, but you must be willing to give a lot all of the time. Can become very draining on your personal life.

Cons

No fairness as to how promotions are given out. Seems like you have to have a look or being in the correct click to be respected.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Team members
    Professional development
Willingness of peers to work as a team and jump in and help when necessary
    Some benefits

    Cons

    Management
Change is constant, Pretty much 24/7.
    Majorly deadline driven
Will not look at anyone for a management or leader position unless they have a college degree even if they have a great amount of experience prior.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to start recognizing their staff when they have done an excellent job. Managers need to understand, that if they replace a previous manager, they need to set their expectations to the staff as theirs may be somewhat different than the previous managers because not all work the same way.

  2. "Good stepping stone to start but definitely not to continue as a long term career"

    Pros

    Good salary increases yearly
    Good benefits
    401 k package
    Vacation pay
    Life insurance option
    Average starting pay 50-54k

    Cons

    No work life balence
No holidays off( in paperwork describes holidays off but not realistic. You end up doing a overnight shift day before a holiday which in the end you end up working the actual holiday morning. Not great when you have family long distance.)
Average work day is 12 hours plus
good company tomwt your feet but for long term not the choice to make if you are a family oriented person who has a family.

    Advice to Management

I feel that if Target payed regular employees more money then the company would receive better results through their employees. The retention rate would also not be so high if the company would realize they need to come up with solutions to balence managers life balence with their work.
