Cons

Constant talent management assessments and reviews can be overdone. Sometimes it's just too much feedback for employees

I worked at Target as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people with energetic and friendly personalities
Office is usually empty by 5 everyday
Right in downtown Minneapolis and Target owns the city
    Cutting edge retail company
Lots of power over vendors and ability to make decisions

    Cons

Slow promotion and very very political
Over-staffed -- could handle a round of layoffs
Culture may not fit with everyone
Very very meeting heavy -- sometimes you feel as if you can never get anything done in a day because your calendar is so chockful of them. Senior management often has 'fake' meetings on their calendar just to give themselves free time.
