I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Working overnight was good in that your supervisors and coworkers were approachable. The work environment was such that there's work to be done but your superiors aren't constantly looking over the shoulder. Not having to deal with customers for the vast majority of your shift is also a plus.

Cons

The overnight hours are rough, the work can be strenuous, and, in general, Target's zealous anti-union attitude can be a bit offputting to some people. As it's a big team and you spend most of the time attending to your own duties, standing out can be difficult and as such you risk falling through the cracks as far as promotions are concerned.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is very friendly and the customers very friendly and appreciative of the service you provided them. Everyone worked very hard including the store manager and the department heads and working schedules were flexible. Sometimes you did not have as many people as you needed to get everything done but I did not see anyone being taken to task for not meeting their work quota.

    Cons

The pay is minimum wage and getting hours can be a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Managers do everything they can to help employees, customers and to meet company goals.

No place is perfect but Target has a corporate culture that is open and respects employees and customers.
