I worked at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

There is a great opportunity for career growth. There also many options if you get bored with what you are doing and want a change.

Cons

If you are working on the store side, you will be working a lot of weekends. Also, during the holiday season (Nov-Jan) you may have to work 60-75 hour weeks with no change in pay.

I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The staff is fun, kind, and some good friends can be made from it

    Cons

ETL's only care about particular attributes of Target. Starbucks is not one of them. They don't have about your sales or how crappy your job currently is because that is not where the money is made... I also know this is probably true with all jobs, but working there reminded me of high-school with all the gossip.

Put more competent people in charge of local stores.
