I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good discount. Fun people to work with. Usually fast paced.

    Cons

Pay, irregular hours. They really don't seem to care about other commitments or you as a person. It got irritating that I had to ask every customer if they needed help finding something or if they wanted to sign up for a Red Card (even when I knew they were getting irritated).

    Advice to Management

Treat your team members with respect.

I have been working at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The workplace is very energetic, and filled with Type A personalities.

    Cons

The culture encourages and rewards individuals who tailor communication to the point of withholding information -- that is, most anything "negative" is purposefully buried internally to dissuade the asking of questions and avoid undesired attention.
