I worked at Target full-time

Pros

If you have no experience, this may be a decent place to work, to get it on the resume.

Cons

No work life balance or upward movement exists for some managers. If you have any other options, go elsewhere.

Advice to Management

N/A. Upper management knows the problems with some stores often stems from the general manager and/or logistics manager, and with lesser frequency others, and refuses to support the right people with the changes that need to happen.

I worked at Target full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Can be a fun work environment depending where you work. Any new job postings are fair game to those who feel like applying. Job is pretty flexible as far as scheduling goes. Great for someone who wants to work part-time.

    Cons

Hours have been disappearing lately with low sales, might not be the case for all stores though. Hours can vary wildly from week to week. Management always seems to be favoring people regardless of interview performance. Once you get to leader status there really isn't anyway to move up, your sort of stuck. Yearly income increases are laughable, if you even get one.

    Advice to Management

Share some of those profits with team members. Great team atmosphere means nothing next to a better paycheck. That's what we're all here for.
