I worked at Target part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pay/benefits, flexible scheduling, great coworkers, fairly generous break schedule, good place to work if you enjoy working with customers.

    Cons

Inconsistent hours, management self-interest and seemingly out-of-touch with responsibilities of employees, pressured to stay past schedule, pressured to skip breaks, major workload imbalance across positions (yet near-equal pay across the board), expected to do other position's jobs (but never vice versa), "Guest comes first" value is a joke as work completion always holds priority.
