Pros

Target does a great job of focusing on leadership development for all management. Personal growth is what you make it, and with the right work ethic and dedication, you can achieve a lot. Constant change keeps you on your toes, and you don't sit at a desk all day, which is a plus for anybody that likes to stay active.

Cons

Work-life balance does not necessarily mean 50/50. Retail hours are a different beast as it is, and Target really does require a lot of time to be successful in your role. There is a big political push for promotions as well. Once being store side, there is not much movement to HQ or distribution centers, not a lot of talent sharing.
