I worked at Teavana part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free drinks during shift
    No drug testing

    Cons

The store I work at isn't active until Christmas week, so it is really hard to make the sales goals the rest of the year. They want you to use the sales processes which is frustrating because the customers don't want to be bothered with it. And when you do find a customer that wants to purchase some of the sample teas, they find out its a blend and the price of the two teas and sugar is expensive.. I have personally seen my manager scare potential customers because of her stalker methods. The zoning sucks since you lose sales, and the employees know they are stealing sales.. This job is for someone who can have a long term commitment, but please make sure the location has actual business.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the sales process. Stop lay of the artificial flavorings, sampling doesn't work (it scares off people)
