You will initially be sold a dream in terms of your role. They hire highly educated individuals and then make them do basic jobs - the starting salary is great if you’re a graduate but you will very quickly become overworked and underpaid. The company is also constantly restructuring and implementing new ‘initiatives’ to boost productivity but what this actually means is you will be expected to work harder, and will not be rewarded for this. The initial flexibility made the job worth it, but will a lot of the flexibility being removed, there are very little initiatives or benefits to retain great employees. As a result of this, the turnover rate is extremely high and half of your job will be to train new graduates constantly who then resign a couple of months later.
