I worked at TeleTech full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Flexible schedule (to an extent)
Guaranteed 40 hrs a week (if you can stand being there)
Nice, renovated interior created a refreshing environment

Cons

Trainers gave false impression of what it's like working there and being on the phones.
Common mishaps with scheduling and receiving bonus or referral pay.
Very little incentive.
Co workers act like high school children.
Too many people in one area; sickness spreads quickly during the winter.
Most of the Team Leads are very unprofessional.
Pay was awful for what an agent has to deal with for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
Computer system issues on a weekly basis.
Not enough training.
Break times and bathroom times were heavily monitored by a department of rude people. Because of the large amount of people that abused break/bathroom time, honest employees had to suffer from humiliation on a daily basis.

Advice to Management

Give agents more incentive to work hard and show up to work every day.
Eliminate OSC department. They are degrading and pompous. No one likes to hear their name called out over 50 walkie talkies for going over 2 minutes on their break. Instead, try implementing a clock in/out station at agents' desks so that they don't go over on breaks.
Consider revamping the training program so that agents are effectively educated on the client's policies and procedures. Many agents were taught conflicting information which hurts the customer satisfaction rates.
Consider increasing the pay because $9.25/hr is horrible.
