    I worked at Telenav full-time

    Pros

    Fun product & technology, friendly people, nice facility. Opportunity to work on either mobile devices or complex back-end "cloud" infrastructure. This is a nice place to work.

    Cons

    The primary revenue generator, OEM'ing navigation software to wireless carriers, will not last much longer. Hard to say if that means 1-year or 5-years, but this is the reality check. Alternatives are already being ramped up, but there will be a level of turmoil and uncertainty until the dust settles.

    Advice to Management

    Maintain a laser sharp focus on replacing revenue streams. Avoid the temptation of placing "many small bets".

    Pros

    Technology is good. Benefits are very good.

    Cons

    Scout Advertising Management lacks experience and knowledge on how to run a team. Senior manager has stated he doesn't know how to manage and had the sales team send 100 emails a week. He stated that this Sales metrics process. Whether you are doing your job or not, you should make sure you learn to kiss some butt.

    Advice to Management

    H.P- if you are looking to grow the company you have put the wrong management in.
