I worked at Telerx full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Coworkers were great, everyone was friendly and pleasant. They gave adequate training to make sure you felt comfortable on the phone and keep reviewing you to ensure that you keep getting better. Our team had a lot of fun doing different activities and it was just a good work environment overall.

Cons

I did not like the taste of the coffee there, I don't know what was up with it but I just could not drink it. I mean, I am a bit of a coffee snob, but I just thought the stuff was just...rank. When I mentioned my thoughts on the coffee in a review with management, I got a bit of a snippy response. I thought that was kind of strange because if that's my biggest complaint, that's a good thing.

Advice to Management

I don't know if it was the coffee machines or just the brand of coffee, but I think you can do better. It's an easy fix, so why not? Yes, the cost of a more expensive brew adds up on the books, but it's worth that cost to keep the employees caffeinated and happy.

    Pros

    The benefit package is comparable to other companies

    Cons

    Management is terrible. They discuss confidential personal info to other people & "target" employees that they want to get rid of (they have other employees report back everything you do and if you refuse then you are targeted which creates a VERY hostile working place.

    Advice to Management

    Be fair and consistent. Stop focusing in on "playing favorites." Increase the salary rate because it is not comparable to the job rate.

    Vacation non physical room for advancement-somewhat

    Cons

    Favoritism. There's room for advancement if you're "in" a lot of back stabbing ..rules being made as they go..no team leads
