Pros

Great environment
Competent Managment
Great learning experience
Benefits are top notch
Corporate offices are in Austin Texas

Cons

The company won't exist in 2012
The disparity between executive management severance and worker severance is a bit large.
But were lucky were getting anything at all.
Layoffs in 2012 (Unless you get picked up by International Paper)
Might have to move to Memphis Tennessee
You see executives on a daily basis. All very nice, including Doyle.

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Lots of overtime, depending on the season. Friendly employees.

    Cons

The current management team is very disrespectful towards employees. If you need to take personal time off they won't give it to you or they'll "lose" you're request, even if you request it in advance. They practice favoritism and treat certain employees better than others. They get mad at any little thing that goes wrong, even when it's they're fault, they still blame it on the employees. It's always the employees fault, never theirs. The production supervisors are pretty good, it's just the upper management that's bad.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with more respect. The company would be nothing without all their hard work.

    Pros

The benefit package from Temple Inland was one of the best I have ever encountered. Since Temple Inland had so many different business, one could switch roles with little hassle.

    Cons

While Temple Inland offered the benefits and stability of a large corporation, the ability to create change within the organization took a long time, as many managers had to approve.
