Pros

Wonderful people, very talented and smart. Cool products, especially being able to control home area network devices remotely. Exciting market.

Cons

They seem to be having a hard time deciding what direction to take but it's also a relatively new market.

    Pros

Good culture. Exciting ride. Good benefits. Good information flow. Product helps people save energy. Boulder is a nice place. Free lunches on Friday

    Cons

Start up that is betting big so it could fail big too. Industry may not be ready for the product. Growth pains inside of company.

    Advice to Management

Keep information flowing. Share more company equity with employees.

I worked at Tendril full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent engineering processes, management and agile. Suggestions for process changes, technologies utilized, architectural changes, etc from engineers are embraced by management. Methods of implementation are discussed in an open forum with the scrum team and all voices are respected. Very effective agile implementation. Well defined definitions of "done" and ability to define your estimates. Great team work. Great place to work and expand your engineering skills. Some of the smartest people I have ever worked with, particularly Mark Koch. Overall: A+

    Cons

When I was with Tendril, there seemed to be a lot of employee turn over. I never really figured out why...

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work.
