Pros

Flexible working and have some good employees.

Cons

Strong blame game within management. Instead of nurturing, people are let go quietly when they don’t meet the mark. Not a safe environment to speak your mind.

Hi, we apologise that the communication of leavers has missed you. Due to various circumstances (security, personal preference, transition planning), announcement of leavers is shared during our monthly all hands, rather than on an ad hoc basis. Separately, we have always committed to instilling a high performing culture through feedback loops and performance reviews. Any individuals who are not quite meeting the expectations would be guided by their managers; and if there is no sign of improvement, we would formalize a performance improvement plan for them should they remain committed and aligned to our company values. I hope this clarifies, please feel free to reach out to us at careers@terrascope.com if you would like to have a further discussion.

Pros

- Growth support: the more you are ready to take responsibilities, the more you are endowed with opportunities. Promotions are coming fast if you have an impact on the team - Working globally: Wherever you work, you are exposed to the global team and projects. Getting less regional work and feeling the dynamics of the global team is a benefit of working in a global startup - Very flexible work environment: Remote first, freedom in working hours - Alignment between your work and making a better world: No need to be evil for the sake of business here

Cons

- Being common in startups, directions or teams are changing rapidly, you should be flexible in adapting to the changes - The company is revamping in the midst of a difficult industry condition. There is a challenge in finding a sweet spot for survival, being worth tackling this though
