Pros

Company parking, shuttles to/from the garage, paid Metro rail pass

Cons

The Medical Center is a congested with traffic, A&I lab management is very poor

Advice to Management

The A&I lab needs more oversight to ensure proper working conditions

    I have been working at Texas Children's Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Taking care of sick kids

    Cons

    Two pay cuts/position eliminations in 5 yrs...... 2k in pay cuts.......because of "economic/healthcare environment changes".... Nobody else effected ....no respect for bedside nurses,,,,use to feel like part of a team.... Not for a long time now....had CCRN(N) & ANCC Pedi certs but told I couldn't work therr because i was an "acute" float .

    Advice to Management

    Micro managed beyond belief...
