    Pros

Texas Instruments owns fabs and thus, is likely to be around for a long time. The people who work here are smart.

    Cons

They have a tendency to abandon ship when they aren't the best solution in the market place, meaning if your product isn't growing faster than the competition they will just lay you off rather than try and solve the underlying problem.

"Good company.. Big company culture - slow to adapt to market."

    Pros

Ability to work anywhere in the world. Very easy to move across organizations.

    Cons

Selected few get to see growth in the company. 40 is the new 60 at TI , If you are <30, always enthusiastic, perky kinds.. this is the place for you.

    Advice to Management

Need to balance management with experienced as well as young blood. I feel that TI is loosing a lot of very talented and experienced people due to its age-bias policies.
