Approves of CEO

I have been working at Texas Instruments as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Decent pay, they don't forget about the little guy, have new grad global rotation programs, most everyone is friendly, always something new to learn/do.

Cons

No consistent managerial style, cubical everywhere (even most offices look like cubes), not many cons for TI

I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

TI values employee retention and there are many opportunities within such a large company. The pay is comparable to other companies in the industry. TI also places value on work-life balance and offers many flexible options.

    Cons

Recent company performance has led to some downsizing and employee morale was affected. Cost cutting has also affected some of the perks previously provided to employees.

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fair pay and benefits. tend to have products in growth areas so there is always something to learn or be excited about. Many travel opportunities.

    Cons

A lot of meetings. Seemingly drastic business decisions resulting in sale or termination of large groups. Consequently, it felt like a rather cutthroat environment. Slight image problem: most people don't know where what they produce besides calculators.

    Advice to Management

    More transparency.
