Pros

There are some great people to work with at TI. It's has great ethics policies and behavior. There are lots of potential areas to learn in.

Cons

Lots of short-sighted off-shoring happened with people training their own replacements.

Advice to Management

Need more focus on innovation and adding value to products. As TI goes more analog and more fabless digital, how are they different from other companies doing the same?

    Pros

Flexibility in your job role to get things done

    Cons

Lack of individual recognition and career opportunities

    Advice to Management

There is very little career growth at Texas Instruments. Each business group runs as an individual entity making company practices across these groups inconsistent. This inconsistency goes from how products are ramped up to how individuals are compensated. Often individuals step up to be creative and solve problems yet there is now reward for such accomplishments.
