Pros

recreation center salary benefits commute

Cons

the security controls and officers are a little more intrusive than necessary one technician read all emails and management knew so they avoided emails
employees call pretended to be headhunters to try and discover your salary and then it travels quickly
my relocation realtor told someone of all the neighborhoods I looked at and it travelled through the building

Advice to Management

fix it get rid of the spooks improve normal communications

    Pros

    good benefits (medical, dental, insurance), TI has many locations in US and abroad, one could find different jobs inside the same company

    Cons

    poor engineering management, focus is not kept on innovation,
    business driven decisions, engineers are easily replaceable,
    80% or more of the managers are not engineering specialists

    Advice to Management

    get back to engineering excellence, revenue will come naturally;
    value your people's skills beyond business, they will generate more revenue when existing product cycle ends
