I have been working at The Acquisition Group full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Everybody is friends! Team environment makes everyday fun. Total support system from entry level employees to upper management. Started working at entry level, grew into a management position within two monthss

Cons

management is too friendly -- great friends, but sometimes Im looking for guidance in a professional setting

Advice to Management

Seperate yourself from the team a bit. Being familiar with your staff is OK but sometimes I want you to tell me what to do instead of letting me decide for myself

I have been working at The Acquisition Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They have a positive culture which is energizing, fun, and engaging. The work load given is just enough to remain challenged without feeling overwhelmed.

    Cons

Sometimes there is confusion as to who is responsible for certain members of the sales teams. This makes accountability a bit of a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to delegate tasks to responsible employees below you.

I have been working at The Acquisition Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

you get invaluable experience from this job such as conducting interviews, selling techniques on a cold-calling door to door basis, how to run workshops in a classroom type setting etc.

    Cons

you work 6 days/week, monday to friday is 11:00 am ( till you are promoted, then you start at 10:30 am ) , and if you have an interviw you start at 9:30, then you get back to the office at about 8:00 pm - as late at 9:00 pm. saturday is a short day ( 12-6:00 pm) , but these long work hours obviously get to you.Not sustainable. And you work Sunday's too quite often as you progress in the company to make your work-week 7 days/week.

    Advice to Management

Too many hours. 100 percent commission is cruel.
